The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Cyber and Infrastructure Analysis just released an overview of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's 2015 Spring Outlook. The OCIA 2015 Spring Flooding Outlook and Potential Impacts To Critical Infrastructure also examines the potential impacts to U.S. critical infrastructure, including those in the water and wastewater, energy and dams sectors. This report also identifies the potential for localized major flooding in New England and New York, moderate flooding in the lower Missouri River and Ohio River basins, and minor flooding in the Southern Plains and Southeast. It also includes a table comparing last year’s predictions to actual observations.
