The Alliance for Water Efficiency and the Mott Foundation will host on September 22 an in-person and online workshop on water loss control:  The Water Loss Control Workshop for the Great Lakes Region. The workshop will highlight results of two water loss case studies from the Great Lakes Region, discuss indicators and data validation for water loss programs and present tools for water use tracking.  A discussion of how to use both the AWWA and Water Research Foundation water loss audit tools will also be discussed. In addition, Tom Heikkinen, general manager of the Madison Water Utility, will discuss how his agency managed its lead-line replacement project.

The free workshop runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will be held in Madison, Wisconsin. Additional information and registration information is online. Space is limited and lunch will be provided for those who register by September 7. Those who cannot attend in person may register for the webinar.
