WaterISAC will host a presentation on the Cyber Kill Chain framework by Lockheed Martin on July 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. ET for WaterISAC Pro members.

The Cyber Kill Chain is used by cybersecurity practitioners as a model to analyze cyber attacks into distinct, operational phases, particularly against “advanced persistent threats.” Stopping an attack at one phase can thwart attackers because they must successfully execute each phase to accomplish their objectives. This presentation will cover each of the seven kill chain phases, defensive measures for each phase and other considerations for organizations to implement cybersecurity best practices.

Lockheed Martin is a multi-national, multi-sector organization that performs network defense and analysis (among many other functions) for government and private sector customers.
