Confirmation and Refund:Should you register for the AMWA meeting but be unable to attend, a full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by AMWA by March 12, 2010. No refunds will be given after that date.
Hotel Reservations:A block of rooms has been set aside for the conference, and they must be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting The Renaissance Washington, DC Dupont Circle Hotel (formerly the Renaissance M Street Hotel) at 202-775-0800. The special AMWA room rate of $255 for a single or double room is available only until February 27. Be sure to indicate you are a registrant for the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies conference.
There is a 14.5% sales tax. Check-in time is 3:00 PM and reservations cannot be held for late arrival unless guaranteed by a credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Diners Club) or a check for one night's stay. Check-out time is 12:00 PM. Cancellations must be received by 6:00 pm day of arrival to avoid forfeiture of one nights’ room and tax deposit on credit card.
Location: The Renaissance Washington, DC Dupont Circle Hotel (formerly the Renaissance M Street Hotel) is located at 1143 New Hampshire Ave., NW, Washington, D.C.
Ground Transportation:Reagan National Airport is a 15-minute cab ride to the hotel ($15 - $20). Dulles International Airport is a 45-minute cab ride to the hotel (approx. $55 - $60).
Spouse/Guest:A spouse/guest program has not been planned for the Conference, but members are welcome to bring a spouse/guests to the evening receptions. Please complete the appropriate portion of the registration form. For more information, contact Eugenia Cadena at the national office.
