Gaseous Chlorine and Its Alternatives:  An AMWA Webcast - Tuesday, June 19

CONSIDERING A CHANGE IN CHLORINE-BASED TREATMENT?  Take a couple of hours to learn about the latest technologies and your colleagues’ experiences before you make your move.

Sign up for AMWA’s webcast on June 19 from 1:00-3:00* p.m. ET.  The webcast is available to water utilities (AMWA members and non-members) and employees of firms that are current AMWA subscribers.  There is no limit to the number of attendees that may attend the webcast at a given registrant’s site. (*Time was originally 1:00-2:30 p.m.)

See the preliminary program below.

In response to growing concern with security of gaseous chlorine, AMWA has assembled a panel of water utility leaders and technical staff for a webcast on June 19 to discuss chlorine-based treatment choices and applications.  The webcast will include brief issues and technology overviews, case summaries and discussion with utilities experienced with chlorine gas, liquid hypochlorite and multiple on-site generation technologies.

The information exchange in AMWA’s June 19 webcast will be important for utilities using any form of chlorine for water disinfection in order to optimize existing operations and make good choices for the future.  AMWA expects this to be another excellent opportunity for water utility CEOs and senior staff to network with each other and to benefit from a wide cross-section of knowledge.

Registration cost is only $60 per phone/computer link with no limit to the number of attendees at a particular site. Download the registration form (pdf).  Instructions to logon will be email about two weeks prior to the event.

HAVE EXPERIENCES TO SHARE?  If so, please contact AMWA’s webcast manager, Jan Routt, of Jan Routt & Associates, LLC, at jroutt@windstream.net or 859-971-0858.  We may ask you to offer your knowledge during the webcast or to help us better understand experiences in the field.

Contact Jan or AMWA’s Michael Arceneaux at 202-331-2820 or arceneaux@amwa.net with any questions.

Attendee questions and perspectives will be invited during the webcast; they will be addressed before and during the event; and registrants will receive Q&A summaries following the event, with confidentiality maintained.
