Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee helps develop AMWA’s position on various water policy issues before Congress, such as proposed amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Clean Water Act, hazardous waste laws, homeland security and many others. The committee meets in person each spring as part of AMWA’s Water Policy Conferences held in Washington, D.C. The committee meets by conference call or web-conference when necessary.

All AMWA members are welcome and invited to join the committee. Just contact Dan Hartnett in AMWA’s national office.
