Confirmation and Refunds
Upon receipt of full payment and completed form, AMWA will accept and confirm all registrations via email. AMWA will apply a 10% fee to cancellations made by September 1, and those made by October 13 will receive 50% of the registration fee. There will be no refunds issued after October 13.
Hotel Reservations
AMWA's housing block at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort (the conference site) is SOLD OUT.
Additional rooms are available at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa, 2000 Second Street, Coronado, CA 92118. The rate is $349 plus 11% tax plus .85 per day = $388.24 per night.
- Reservations: Attendees should contact Marriott Reservations at (800) 228-9290 using "AMWA" as the conference code, or use the following reservation web link. All guests must register by Tuesday, October 10, 2023 (The Cut-Off Date). After the Cut-Off Date, the hotel will release any unreserved rooms for general sale and the group rate will no longer be available.
- Cancellation Policy: Attendees must cancel reservations at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Any changes or cancellations made within 72 hours will be subject to a non-refundable one night room and tax charge.
Ground Transportation and Parking at Loews Coronado Bay Resort (the conference site).
The hotel is about 20 minutes from San Diego International Airport; Uber, Lyft, and taxi cost $45-$60 one-way. If you drive, the hotel offers valet parking at $50 and self-parking for $47 per night.
NEW! Wednesday Morning: Additional Program Option or Site Visit
Conference attendees can participate in either the Wednesday programming (see program) or have the option of visiting the facilities of a local utility. The cost to visit is $50 per person and includes breakfast and an optional return trip to San Diego International Airport. The site visit has reached maximum capacity. Interested parties will be put on a wait list and notified of any openings.
Guests of conference attendees are also welcome to enjoy lunches and all evening receptions. Please fill out the spouse/partner/guest registration form.
