Refunds:  There will be a 50% fee for registration cancellations made by February 17, 2023.  No refunds will be given after February 17, 2023.

Hotel Reservations:  The Hilton Washington DC National Mall, The WHARF is located at 480 L’Enfant Plaza, SW, Washington, D.C., 20024. A block of rooms has been set aside for the conference, and they must be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting The Hilton Washington DC National Mall directly at 800-Hiltons.  The special AMWA room rate of $299 for a single or double room is available only until February 10.  There is a 14.95% sales tax.  Be sure to indicate Group Name: AMWAP  You may also make your reservation online at,WW,HILTONLINK,EN,DirectLink&fromId=HILTONLINKDIRECT.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and reservations cannot be held for late arrival unless guaranteed by a credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Diners Club) or a check for one night's stay.  Check-out time is 11:00 AM.  Cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. 

Ground Transportation:  Reagan National Airport is a 20-minute cab ride to the hotel (approx. $30.00).  Dulles International Airport is a 60-minute cab ride to the hotel (approx. $75).

Public Transportation:  From Reagan National Airport, take the Yellow or Blue Metro Line ($2 to $4 one way) to L’Enfant Plaza Station. Follow the signs to the hotel. (approx. travel time – 20 minutes).

From Dulles International Airport, take the moving walkway from baggage claim to the Silver Metro Line ($2 to $6 one way) to L’Enfant Station and follow the signs to the hotel.  (approx. travel time – 1 hour).

Spouse/Guest:  Members are welcome to bring spouse/guests to the evening receptions for a $100 fee.  Please complete the spouse/guest registration form.
