AMWA led a coalition of eight water and municipal sector organizations in writing to Sen. Michael Bennet in support of his anticipated introduction of the Financing Lead Out of Water (FLOW) Act. The legislation is a companion measure to a bill introduced in the House of Representatives in March, and aims to reduce administrative burdens on drinking water systems that seek to pay for full lead service line replacements with tax-exempt bonds.
