Join AMWA on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. ET for a virtual roundtable discussing the water policy landscape under the 119th Congress, shaped by a Republican trifecta in the White House and both houses of Congress. During the meeting, AMWA’s policy team will explore key challenges and opportunities for the association’s priorities, including LIHWAP reauthorization, PFAS liability protections, Lead and Copper Rule updates, and the FLOW Act. The policy team includes:
- Dan Hartnett, Chief Policy Officer;
- Jessica Evans, Senior Manager of Government Affairs and Sustainability Policy;
- Kaline Gabriel, Manager of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs; and
- Megan Seymour, Manager of Legislative Affairs.
The roundtable will also feature tools and strategies to help utilities effectively engage policymakers on these critical issues ahead of AMWA’s 2025 Water Policy Conference.
The meeting is open exclusively to members and subscribers, and registration is required. The association will monitor the registration list to ensure attendance is limited to eligible participants.
For inquiries or to request the AMWA staff address a specific issue during the roundtable, please contact Antoinette Barber, AMWA’s Director of Communications and Utility Management Programs.
