The EPA’s Water Security Division will convene a webinar from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 7 in recognition of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The webinar, Building Security and Resilience to Cyber Threats, Disinformation, and other Hazards in the Water and Wastewater Sector, will feature speakers from AMWA, WaterISAC, and the agency. AMWA will discuss how disinformation - inaccurate information spread with malicious intent - could affect the water sector, and WaterISAC staff will examine current cybersecurity threats and recent incidents. Registration is open online to all interested parties.
