EPA has unveiled a new webpage dedicated to highlighting the deregulatory achievements of the agency. When posted on January 10, the page listed all 20 deregulatory actions that have already been completed along with 47 that are still under development. Among the list of “actions already completed” is the Postponement of Certain Compliance Dates for Effluent Limitations Guidelines and Standards for the Steam Electric Power Generating Point Source Category. The recodification of the Waters of the United States Rule is listed among the “actions under development.”

In February, Executive Order (EO) 13771 directed agencies to repeal at least two regulations for each new regulation issued. The agency states that this new webpage will allow EPA to “provide the public the most up-to-date information on agency implementation of EO 13771.”
