EPA is seeking volunteers to provide direct feedback on its recent information collection request (ICR) on draft application materials for the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) pilot program.  The draft application materials are currently available online.  The agency is collecting public comments through July 22, but would like to collect additional, direct feedback from potential WIFIA applicants.  As many as nine volunteers will be asked to review the draft application materials and consider whether the forms are clear, if any requirements seem unnecessarily burdensome, how long it might take for applicants to complete the forms and any other suggestions.  Volunteers will be asked to provide feedback on the application materials during individual 30-minute phone calls with EPA officials between July 12-14 or 18-20.

Utility staff interested in volunteering should email EPA’s Karen Fligger ([email protected]) with their name, contact information, position, organization, and the name and population of the community served by their utility.  Volunteers should also specify their availability for a 30-minute phone call.
