FEMA and the DHS Office of Infrastructure Protection are hosting webinars on the recently released National Protection Framework. The new framework describes the core capabilities, roles and responsibilities, and coordinating structures that facilitate protection against acts of terrorism and manmade or natural disasters. There is one framework for each of the five mission areas: prevention, protection, mitigation, response and recovery. The webinars will provide an overview on how to develop and implement protection plans under the guidance of the National Protection Framework and National Infrastructure Protection Plan 2013.
