Daily headline news concerning the nation’s drinking water makes the Nation’s Capital the place to be this week for AMWA’s 2016 Water Policy Conference. More than 100 water industry leaders from around the country have convened to hear the latest on national policy developments and to share ideas and perspectives on lead service lines and other critical water sector issues.
EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy will provide the keynote address, and noted political analyst Stuart Rothenberg will provide perspectives on the upcoming national elections. Leaders of key Congressional committees are scheduled to address the group as well. While in town, many attendees will take the opportunity to visit Capitol Hill offices to discuss local, regional and national water concerns with their Congressional representatives.
