EPA has announced revised dates for the fall meeting of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC) that was cancelled in October due to the government shutdown. The meeting has been rescheduled for December 11 and 12, 2013 at EPA’s headquarters in Washington, DC. The exact times for the meetings, along with other additional meeting details will be published as part of an official Federal Register notice in the next weeks.

The NDWAC meetings provide a good opportunity for the public to get the latest information on EPA’s drinking water agenda, and AMWA staff will be in attendance to report back on any new developments. Registration information for those wishing to attend the meetings (phone lines are not usually made available for NDWAC meetings), the agenda (when posted) and additional information about NDWAC are available through EPA’s NDWAC webpage.
