The EPA announced in an April 16 Federal Register notice that it will hold a public meeting May 15 to “discuss analytical testing procedures for unregulated contaminants in drinking water that are, or are being considered for inclusion, on the Contaminant Candidate List (CCL).” Methods developed for the CCL are also expected to support future monitoring efforts under the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR).  

The public meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time at EPA's Andrew W. Breidenbach Environmental Research Center in Cincinnati, Ohio and will also be broadcast to the public via webcast. Participants are asked to register via email to[email protected] by May 1. Additional information on the meeting can be found on EPA's Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Program Meetings and Materials web page.
