After receiving requests from AMWA and others to extend the comment period for EPA’s proposed revisions to the Lead and Copper Rule, the agency announced a 30-day extension in the Federal Register December 19. The new deadline for providing input on the proposal is February 12. AMWA established a work group to help develop the association’s comments and will soon be engaging the full Regulatory Committee.
