Version 2.0 of the EPA’s Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool (CREAT) is now available. Developed to assist drinking water, wastewater and stormwater utilities in assessing potential climate change threats and evaluating adaptation strategies, the updated climate evaluation tool improves on earlier versions by allowing greater user flexibility while incorporating updated and more downscaled climate data. The CREAT 2.0 desktop application can be downloaded for free from EPA’s CREAT webpage. Training on CREAT and other aspects of the Climate Ready Water Utilities (CRWU) program is being provided via an ongoing webinar series. Information on CRWU webinars is available under the “Training Calendar” tab on EPA’s CRWU webpage.
