The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) announced the release of a new online interactive mapping tool that allows interested stakeholders to investigate long-term changes in groundwater quality. Decadal changes in groundwater quality for contaminants such as nutrients, pesticides, metals and volatile organic are shown for 67 groundwater networks across the country.

The mapping tool is the latest release under the USGS’s National Water-Quality Assessment Program, which provides resources for evaluating national water quality conditions.
