This week the Senate is scheduled to continue work on its slate of FY17 appropriations bills with debate planned on a legislative package that combines the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs spending bills.
The House of Representatives is expected to vote on a defense authorization bill and could begin floor consideration of FY17 appropriations measures as well.
