Members of the U.S. Senate return to Washington this week following the annual Easter recess and are expected to continue negotiations to reach an agreement on emergency legislation to fund lead service line replacement efforts in Flint, Michigan. The Senate is also scheduled to begin debate on a bill to increase legal protections for corporate trade secrets.
The House of Representatives remains on recess this week with lawmakers scheduled to return to Washington on April 12.
