Active shooter incidents and workplace attacks, while rare, occur more often that you might think. When active shooters attack, they usually do so with little or no warning and the attack is typically over within minutes. Active shooter preparedness can be challenging but there are measures an organization may reasonably take to help protect lives.

Join WaterISAC on June 8 and 15 (both 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET) for a two-part webinar on preparedness considerations for workplace attacks and active shooter incidents.  “Workplace Attacks: Background & Preparedness Considerations” will provide facts, figures and analysis about past incidents, potential indicators of violence and considerations for organizational planning. Attendees will also learn about the “Run, Hide, Fight” protocol, recommended by law enforcement and homeland security agencies, as well as what to expect from police and other responders during an incident response and what they will expect of you.  The webinar will feature Andy Jabbour, who is the founder of Gate 15, which provides risk management and threat analysis services to public and private sector organizations, including WaterISAC.
