AMWA joined a coalition of ten water sector organizations in writing to educate congressional leaders about the importance of holding polluters responsible for the cost of environmental cleanups of PFAS contamination under CERCLA, rather than drinking water and wastewater systems that may legally dispose of water treatment byproducts containing the chemicals.
