On July 15, AMWA joined the Alliance for Water Efficiency, AWWA, the Appliance Standards Awareness Project, and a variety of other organizations supporting energy and water efficiency, in comment letters to the Department of Energy opposing its proposals to weaken current water efficiency standards for a different technologies, including residential, commercial, and compact clothes washers; dishwashers; and commercial pre-rinse spray valves.
