AMWA commented on the proposed Army Corps of Engineers credit assistance and related fees for water resources infrastructure projects under the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA). The association welcomed the new program to fund critical projects that will maintain dam safety and encouraged the Corps to partner with the Environmental Protection Agency to help applicants understand which financing structure would best fit the scope of their projects.
