AMWA submitted comments to FEMA in response to the agency’s request for public input on implementation of the Community Disaster Resilience Zones Act of 2022. The law amends the Stafford Act by requiring the establishment of a natural hazard assessment program with public risk ratings at the census tract level and the identification of community disaster resilience zones based on these ratings.
