Comments regarding EPA's Addition of Certain Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances: Community Right-to-Know Toxic Chemical Release Reporting (EPA–HQ–TRI–2019–0375)

AMWA submitted comments to EPA February 3 in response to the agency’s advance notice of proposed rulemaking titled, Addition of Certain Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances; Community Right-to-Know Toxic Chemical Release Reporting. AMWA's comments support including PFAS on the TRI highlighting the problematic characteristics of the substances and the need for awareness as to how these substances are being managed, disposed of after their use, and when releases of contaminants have occurred.
