AMWA wrote this letter in opposition to an amendment to the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act that would require EPA to follow a unique, expedited process to finalize national primary drinking water standards for PFOA, PFOS, and other PFAS contaminants under the Safe Drinking Water Act.
