With interest in potable reuse rapidly expanding, the need for industry discussion and collaboration in this burgeoning field is more pressing than ever.  AWWA, in partnership with AMWA, NACWA, WateReuse, WEF, NWRI, Water Research Foundation and IUVA is hosting the AWWA International Symposium on Potable Reusescheduled for January 25-27, 2016 in Long Beach, California. The program is designed to advance the global discourse on potable reuse.

With a combination of presentations and facilitated discussions among conference attendees, the Symposium will capture international perspectives and cultivate the exchange of ideas on the hottest topics in both direct and indirect potable reuse, including source water assessment, treatment technology, facility operations, on-line monitoring, regulations, public engagement and more. Among the sessions is one organized by AMWA and NACWA entitled Policy and Potable Reuse: Balancing Water Needs With Public Health Protection.  Find more information online at www.awwa.org/reuse.
