AMWA is a frequent presence in the halls of Congress, at stakeholder meetings, and at comment sessions organized by the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies. The association gives a voice to publicly owned metropolitan water systems by standing in support of science-based regulations and cost-effective laws that promote the safety and security of drinking water.
