The November 18 deadline is fast-approaching for participation in AMWA’s 2016 Utility Financial Information (UFI) survey. The unique database resulting from the survey will allow managers of large drinking water systems to compare their financial data with other similar systems in their region and across the country. AMWA members are strongly urged to complete the survey, as only survey participants will have access to the database when it is released in early 2017.
AMWA has been working with Raftelis Financial Consultants to develop an online dashboard with dynamic visualizations of the information – a new feature to make it easier for users to view and understand the data. In addition, a webinar will be conducted on analyses of the 2016 data, financial trends identified, and practical uses of the database and dashboard.
Members that completed surveys in past years were emailed survey forms in September that were pre-populated with their most recent answers. New members and those who have never completed a survey received blank survey forms.
