The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) released the official “negotiating text” for the anticipated UN climate change conference in Paris in December, also known as the 21st Conference of the Parties, or COP-21. The text will be the starting point for discussion toward a new international agreement on how to address climate change impacts and greenhouse gas emissions.  A meeting in Bonn, Germany, and two other meetings are planned in advance of the December conference, which is when an international climate agreement would be signed.
