AMWA’s 2026 Executive Management Conference (EMC) is bringing together the nation’s top drinking water utility leaders for four days of executive-level learning, strategic discussion, and peer collaboration in Seattle, Washington, October 25–28.

This year’s program features a dynamic lineup of speakers, including keynote presenter Mike Abrashoff, former U.S. Navy commander and bestselling author of It’s Your Ship. Drawing on his experience transforming one of the Navy’s lowest-performing crews into one of its best, Abrashoff will share practical leadership strategies for building high-performing teams, fostering accountability, and leading through change.

In addition to the keynote, attendees will benefit from executive-focused sessions covering the most pressing issues facing today’s water utility leaders, including infrastructure investment, leadership and organizational strategy, technology and innovation, community engagement, and operational resilience. The conference also features:

  • Executive-level peer networking with utility leaders from across the country;
  • AMWA’s annual awards luncheon recognizing outstanding leadership and utility excellence;
  • An optional site visit to Seattle Public Utilities’ Cedar River Watershed Education Center and Cedar Falls Masonry Dam; and
  • Opportunities to exchange ideas, build connections, and gain practical strategies to bring back to your utility.

So, don't delay! The early bird registration expires on July 31. Register today, reserve your hotel room, and join your peers in Seattle for AMWA's premier leadership event.
