On July 11, EPA announced a virtual meeting of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC). The purpose of the meeting is for EPA to update NDWAC members on Safe Drinking Water Act programs and to consult on the final National Primary Drinking Water Regulation (NPDWR) for certain PFAS. The meeting will be held on August 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.
Individuals wishing to provide written or oral comments must submit or indicate their interest by August 1. One hour of the meeting is reserved for public oral comments, with each receiving three minutes. Written comments submitted prior to noon on August 1 will be distributed to NDWAC members before the meeting. Registration and meeting information will be available on the NDWAC webpage.
