EPA’s Climate Ready Water Utility (CRWU) program recently launched an online tool that showcases water utility climate adaptation case studies. The case studies highlight the planning process and adaptation measures taken by water and wastewater utilities around the country to address climate threats, including drought, floods, ecosystem changes and water quality. The Adaptation Case Study and Information Exchange is built on an interactive geographic information system platform, where users can identify case studies by location and access them at the click of a button.  Users can also review potential adaptation strategies that have been identified by utilities of similar type or climate threat. Water utilities are invited to share their own climate adaptation case studies to add to the Information Exchange. Case studies can be submitted directly from the tool via a web form.
