On Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., EPA will host Navigating Your Day Without Water: A Virtual Exercise in Disaster Preparation, a facilitated discussion featuring a water loss emergency scenario. The disaster will disrupt the water services in a fictional community. This event is intended for water and wastewater utilities, public health agencies, hospitals, power utilities, emergency managers, police, fire, restaurants, businesses and others in the community who rely on water services and would benefit from identifying key preparedness actions.

In this exercise, participants will determine their current preparedness level, learn more about their needs in a water emergency and learn steps they can take at the individual and organization level to build resilience.
