Joel Beauvais, EPA’s new deputy assistant administrator for water, will speak at AMWA’s 2016 Water Policy Conference, scheduled for March 20-23 in Washington, D.C. Previously, Beauvais was associate administrator in EPA’s Office of Policy, and he also served as counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and clerked for former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.
Beauvais will provide his perspectives on combining policy with practicality in the environment and water arena. He is expected to address issues facing the water sector, including climate impacts, resilience, sustainability, affordability, compliance and innovative financing.
