The National Stormwater Calculator is a downloadable desktop application that estimates the annual amount of rainwater and frequency of runoff from a specific site anywhere in the United States and Puerto Rico. EPA updated the calculator in late January to include changes in seasonable precipitation levels, effects of more frequent, intense rainfall events and evaporation rate changes. The main purpose of the tool is to help communities and citizens choose the best options for locating green infrastructure.
