EPA’s Water Infrastructure and Resilience Finance Center will host a webinar on Tuesday, June 7, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. ET on customer assistance programs that help low-income households pay drinking water and wastewater bills. The webinar will build on a report released by EPA in April that compiled information about various assistance programs used by water and wastewater utilities in the U.S. to reduce the financial burden of water bills to customers in need.
The webinar will deliver information about how various utilities are using customer assistance programs to help customers receive the public health benefits of drinking water and wastewater services while also helping utilities meet their financial needs and obligations. The webinar will feature speakers from San Antonio Water System and Portland Water Bureau. Registration is available online.
