The Federal Emergency Management Agency has a website that provides news and information for individuals and organizations to plan for El Niño. The site is primarily focused on four states: California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii, but also links to regional resources from other agencies including NOAA and the Forest Service.  The website is organized to include:

  • Preparedness resources for individuals;
  • Resources from other agencies, including fact sheets for emergency response from the US Army Corps of Engineers and USGS; and
  • Region-specific El Niño fact sheets from NOAA.
