Today, the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA) is announcing Michael Arceneaux’s departure from AMWA and WaterISAC to pursue other opportunities.

Michael joined AMWA in 1995 as a legislative and public affairs manager from Capitol Hill and moved up to become the Association’s Chief Operating Officer and then acting CEO. He also served as WaterISAC’s Managing Director since 2009.

“Michael has been a long-term dedicated proponent of the public health missions of water and wastewater utilities.  We thank Michael for his service to the water industry and the association.  We will continue to build on the foundation laid by Diane VanDe Hei and Michael,” said Tom Dobbins, AMWA’s Chief Executive Officer. “We wish him luck in his future endeavors.”
