EPA’s Climate Ready Water Utilities program has scheduled interactive workshops this summer for drinking water, wastewater and stormwater utilities that will focus on extreme event planning and provide training on the Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool (CREAT).  The workshops will be held in the Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M.; Portland, Ore.; and Des Moines, Iowa, in June and July. Additional information and registration is online.  EPA is also hosting similar workshops in coastal areas focused on the agency’s Storm Surge Inundation and Hurricane Strike Frequency Map as well as CREAT. Four coastal resilience trainings are scheduled in June and July for Boca Raton, Fla.; Houston, Texas; Mobile, Ala.; and Long Island, N.Y.
