WERF released a survey on March 31 as part of a research project to investigate the drivers, hindrances, and success factors for utilities considering or planning water reuse projects. The survey is primarily directed toward all water sector utilities whether or not they have planned a water reuse project. Academics, planners, engineers, industry representatives, and others interested in reuse may answer as well.

The survey is part of a WERF funded project entitled, Economic Pathways and Partners for Water Reuse.  The purpose of the survey is to understand the most influential considerations for utilities in developing water reuse projects to assess nationwide the current state of water reuse. The outcomes of the survey will help researchers identify how the most important drivers and hindrances vary across the country, including for utilities that have not yet built reuse projects.  In addition, respondents have the opportunity to be the first to receive the survey’s summary data and notifications about publications related to this project. The survey is open until April 18, 2016.
