Most major U.S. corporations believe that water will have an increasingly greater effect on core business objectives in the next five years, according to a recent survey by the Pacific Institute and Vox Global. Core business objectives are defined in the survey as business growth, profitability, location of facilities and ability to market products. The survey asked over 50 major U.S. companies to better understand how they are considering water-related risks.

An introduction to the survey says pressure is growing for U.S. companies to integrate water into strategic business decisions.
