USGS recently redesigned its website and is accepting feedback from stakeholders on the test site through the end of April. The purpose of the redesign is to improve access to its science and information, provide consistency across the bureau, and provide enhanced mobile capabilities. Each page on the beta site, beta.usgs.gov, has a feedback button or comments can be emailed directly to [email protected].
Some areas in which USGS is informally requesting feedback include: why stakeholders visit USGS web pages; whether current and real time information is accessible with minimal clicks; whether access via a mobile device is effectively displayed; and whether web page outcomes align with user expectations.
