The House of Representatives is scheduled to be in session through Wednesday this week before departing Washington for a two-week spring recess. But before leaving, the Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a Tuesday morning hearing to examine EPA’s FY17 budget request, and the full chamber is expected to vote on a bill to streamline federal rules that apply to corporate mergers and acquisitions.
The Senate began its spring recess on Friday, with senators scheduled to return to Washington on April 4.
