Members of Congress return to Washington this week, where members of the Senate will renew attempts to reach a deal on a plan to deliver $400 million to Flint, Mich., to help the city replace its buried inventory of lead service lines.  Disagreements between Senate Democrats and Republicans on how and when to make funding available to Flint held up work on an energy policy bill earlier this month, so negotiators will attempt to break the logjam and allow both measures to proceed.

In the House, lawmakers are scheduled to vote on a bill supporters say will reduce frivolous lawsuits and another measure to increase access to federal lands for recreational hunting and fishing activities.
