Last week, the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council (WHEJAC) announced its request for written and verbal comments on the Council of Environmental Quality’s (CEQ) beta version of the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool as well as its implementation of the Justice40 initiative. The public will have the opportunity to provide verbal comments at the beginning of the public meetings scheduled for March 30 and 31 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. ET. Registration for the listening session is required, and those wishing to speak must pre-register by March 23. Public written comments are being accepted until April 14.

CEQ also will be holding public meetings and accepting written and verbal comments on the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool. Public listening sessions will be held on March 22 and April 15 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET. In addition, CEQ is holding a public training session for users of the tool on March 16 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET. Registration for these events is required, and written comments are due April 25.
