EPA Motion to Sever and Hold Challenges to Index PFAS in Abeyance

EPA filed this motion on February 29, 2026, asking the Court of Appeals to sever the challenge to the "Hazard Index" PFAS from the challenge to the PFOA and PFOS standards, and to hold the "Hazard Index" challenge in abeyance while the agency proposes a regulation to rescind the drinking water standards for those contaminants.
